“Ah, that was great!” Silas said eventually. “All we need is a large pot of gumbo and it’s just like old times, non, Rem’?”

Remy nodded.

“Did you play often like this?” Raenef asked.

Silas shrugged. “There’s always music playing in NOLA, and since it’s on the street, we were automatically invited,” he said cheekily. “The best were the parties in the bayou though; No one cared who was there, and Tante Marie would dance to call upon the spirits, and there were big bonfires.”

Eclipse smiled and kissed his fledgling. “It’s nice to hear you talk about those days.”

“Music always brings back good memories and makes me feel good. It’s why I wanted to study music instead of something boring. It’s like studying happiness!” Silas added with a grin.
